Pani puri

Pani Puri, also known as golgappa, is a popular Indian street food snack. It consists of small, round, hollow puris (deep-fried bread) filled with a mixture of flavored water, tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion, and chickpeas. The puris are typically made from semolina or wheat flour and are crispy in texture.

To enjoy pani puri, one traditionally pierces a hole in the top of the puri, fills it with the spicy and tangy flavored water (pani), adds a spoonful of the potato-chickpea mixture (ragda), and then consumes it in one bite. Pani puri is cherished for its burst of flavors and textures, combining spicy, sour, and sweet elements in each mouthful. It's a beloved street food across India and is enjoyed by people of all ages.
